Dr. Erik Sims Honored With Next Generation Award By Dutchess Regional Chamber Of Commerce
Dr. Erik Sims, Managing Partner of Sims & Associates Podiatry was honored by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce at their annual gala held on Saturday, February 8th. Presented with the ‘Next Generation’ Award, Dr. Sims was honored for his continued pursuit of exceptional patient focused care here in the Hudson Valley.
Established in 1973 by Dr. Lewis Sims, Sims & Associates Podiatry is the longest, continually serving podiatry practice in Dutchess County. Sims & Associates Podiatry is a progressive, full service, podiatry practice known for their patient-centered culture and being at the cutting edge of new foot and ankle treatments. In 2008 Dr. Erik Sims joined his father in practice and together, they have contributed to the growth of patient-centered care as well as making the Hudson Valley community better. In addition to his contributions to the health care and business communities, Dr. Sims gives back to his community volunteering for several community organizations as well as coaching youth sports.
Today, the practice operates five state-of-the-art offices in Dutchess and Ulster Counties. Their commitment to progressive foot and ankle care and pioneering leading edge sports medicine treatments has led Sims & Associates Podiatry being recognized as the official podiatrists and foot and ankle specialists of the Marist College Athletics department which has over twenty Division I men’s and women’s sports programs.
