About: Dr. Sarah Sitek was born and raised in Binghamton, New York. Prior to her medical training, she attended Syracuse University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Sitek attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio, where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Following this, she completed her residency at Beaumont Hospital Farmington Hills in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Her residency training encompassed a variety of foot and ankle pathologies treated in both the hospital and office settings and included extensive training in wound care and sports medicine as well as forefoot and rearfoot surgery. In her final year of residency, Dr. Sitek was appointed chief resident of the program.

 In 2022, Dr. Sitek relocated to the Hudson Valley and joined Sims & Associates Podiatry. Like all the physicians at Sims & Associates Podiatry, Dr. Sitek is focused on providing the best treatment and medical care of the foot and ankle with patient satisfaction and comfort in mind. She enjoys educating patients about their conditions in order to empower them to become the best advocates for their own health. Dr. Sitek is accepting new patients in Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, and Highland.

Dr. Sitek resides in Poughkeepsie. She enjoys reading, crocheting, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her family. She is an avid fan of Syracuse basketball. She also loves to run and trained for and completed two half-marathons with her co-residents. In addition, Dr. Sitek gives back to the community by volunteering at a local fire station alongside her parents and siblings. She is looking forward to learning about all that the Hudson Valley has to offer and becoming involved with the community!
