About: Dr. Erik Sims is a board certified podiatrist. Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Sims then completed a three year podiatric medicine and surgery residency program at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. During his residency Dr. Sims received extensive training in the most challenging foot conditions and surgeries and practiced the most up to date training in treatments of diabetic foot ulcers, infections, bunions, sprains, fractures, tendonitis, and many other foot conditions. His unsurpassed commitment to the medical profession and podiatry led to Dr. Sims being named Chief Resident at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

Dr. Erik Sims continues serving his profession by training current and future podiatry students and residents in various surgical procedures and office treatments. He now leads the practice and continues its growth by staying at the leading edge of technology and new treatments in foot care and surgery. And like his father, he does so with compassion and professionalism keeping patient satisfaction and comfort at the forefront of everything they do.

Dr. Erik Sims resides in the Town of Poughkeepsie with his wife and their three children. When not caring for patients and running the practice, Dr. Sims can be found spending time with his family, coaching his children’s sports teams and watching a good basketball game.
