Dr. Lewis J. Sims, DPM, has been a board certified, practicing podiatrist in Poughkeepsie, NY since 1973. Dr. Sims graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1972 and then completed a podiatric surgical residency at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and affiliated hospitals. Dr. Lewis Sims then joined the practice of Dr. Edward Stamm and partnered in his practice for twenty two years. Upon Dr. Stamms retirement, Dr. Lewis Sims took over the practice here in Poughkeepsie, NY and has since continued to grow it and enjoy a distinguished career as a podiatrist the Hudson Valley.
Dr. Lewis J Sims is a fellow of The American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and The College of Certified Wound Specialists. He is also a diplomat of the American Academy of Wound Management. Dr. Lewis J Sims has served as President of the Mid Hudson Division of The New York State Podiatric Medical Association from 1977-1979, and 1981-1982. He has also served on numerous state committees including the peer review at the clinical conference. Dr. Lewis J Sims currently sits on the Medical Executive Board and is Chairman of the Department of Podiatry at the Mid-Hudson Hospital of Westchester Medical Center.
Dr. Lewis J Sims resides in the Town of Poughkeepsie with his wife of 41 years and enjoys spending time with his 4 children and 12 grandchildren.
Dr. Erik Sims, DPM, is a board certified podiatrist. Like his father, Erik attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Sims then completed a three year podiatric medicine and surgery residency program at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. During his residency Dr. Sims received extensive training in the most challenging foot conditions and surgeries and practiced the most up to date training in treatments of diabetic foot ulcers, infections, bunions, sprains, fractures, tendonitis, and many other foot conditions. His unsurpassed commitment to the medical profession and podiatry led to Dr. Erik Sims being named Chief Resident at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and a Board Certified Wound Specialist. He currently holds surgical and admitting privileges at Mid-Huston Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center and surgical consulting privileges at Vassar Brothers Hospital.
Dr. Sims continues serving his profession by training current and future podiatry students and residents in various surgical procedures, as well as office treatments.
Dr. Erik Sims resides in the Town of Poughkeepsie with his wife, Melinda, and their three children–and enjoys practicing podiatry along side his father everyday.
Dr. N. Mya Dubal was raised in a small community in Lewisville, Texas. Prior to her medical training, she attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Subsequently, she attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City and graduated with her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M) in May 2010.
Falling in love with New York, Dr. Dubal stayed in the area and completed a three year residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Her residency focused on a variety of foot and ankle pathologies, procedures and surgeries in office, outpatient, and inpatient environments. Dr. Dubal has also been extensively trained in a multidisciplinary team approach for the treatment of recalcitrant and challenging wounds. During her final year of surgical residency, she had the distinction of being appointed chief resident of her program at Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Dubal is committed to treating medical conditions of the foot and ankle. Her passion for care focuses on her belief in the importance of communication with her patients, and educating them on their condition and proper treatment. She takes great pride in providing the best foot and ankle care possible with a personal touch.
Dr. Dubal is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. She currently holds surgical and admitting privileges at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeespie and surgical privileges at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
Dr. Dubal lives in Wappingers with her husband.
Dr. Tolli attended Temple University in Philadelphia where he earned his medical degree in Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. After podiatry school, Dr. Tolli continued his education at a three year surgical residency at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania under the tutelage of Dr. Guido LaPorta. There he had extensive training in all facets of foot and ankle surgery including reconstruction, trauma, Charcot, external fixation, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care. In addition to his core residency in Scranton, he also trained under multiple podiatric and orthopedic surgeons at the International Center for Limb Lengthening at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. During his residency, he authored an article entitled Axillobipopliteal Bypass in the Presence of Critical Limb-Threatening Ischemia, which was published in the Journal of Vascular Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Tolli is dedicated to providing his patients with passionate, quality care. He takes great pride in the treatment, outcomes, and success in which he cares for his patients.
Dr. Tolli has always been active and continues to pursue athletic activities in his spare time. He enjoys soccer, hunting, fishing, NY sports, and cooking.
He is currently engaged to his fiancé Mehgan, with whom he is residing in the Hudson Valley.”
